Download Sun's Java Instructions

If you are having problems seeing the sign-in screen please follow the directions below.

• Visit Sun Microsystems to download the J2Se v 1.4.2_06 JRE.
• You will need to scroll down the page until you see the Download J2SE JRE link. Click on the link and you will be directed to a License Agreement page.
• Click on the accept option and then choose continue.
• The following page will display different platform options to download the Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition 1.4.2_06. Most users will want to choose the Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language version.
• Select the appropriate version for your computer, you will then see a pop-up file download – security warning screen.
• Select save and choose a location to save the file.
• After you have fully downloaded the application you will see a download complete dialog box.
• Select run.
• If you are running Windows XP with service pack 2 you may be prompted with another security warning, if you are click run.
• From here you will walk through the rest of the installation. Once the software is installed you will be able to view the chat room.
