Statement:
My name is Sarah Barth. I am currently in my third semester as a DDP student and will be graduating in the spring with a degree in Social Sciences, focusing on Anthropology, History, and Sociology. This is also my second year as a member of ASWSU-DDP, serving the student body as a senator.
In addition to being a full-time student, I live and work in the Emerald City - Seattle. My job in the title and escrow industry keeps me running all day, but I love the pace! I've been in the escrow business for five years and am still learning new things all the time - which is what makes the job challenging and keeps it interesting. It's also helping to prepare me for the demands of my next career/educational goal - law school
ASWSU-DDP has enabled me to become more involved with the school, the program as a whole, and its participants. The opportunity to connect in person at DDP events like Graduation Reception and the Hardwood Classic has truly personalized my e-learning experience.
I have been continuously impressed with the level of support and interaction in all aspects of the DDP program, from academic advising to virtual mentors, and of course the students themselves. I am honored to be part of making sure the DDP community continues to grow and thrive and afford more students with the benefits and opportunities I have enjoyed thus far. I am committed to the success of each student and will continue to devote my most sincere efforts to any way in which I am able to facilitate that end.
